 The Department of Education provides the following Postgraduate Diploma in Education Programme (PGDE) since 1985.<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Full-Time)<\/li>\n
  2. Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Part-Time)<\/li>\n
  3. Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Part-Time) at  Vavuniya Center under the administration of the Faculty of Graduates studies<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Full-Time) <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    The Ministry of Education is the responsible entity to select the students through a competitive based selection examination. Maximum of  100 students admit annually by the University to follow the PGDE (FT). The lecturers are conducted in weekdays from 9.00AM to 4 PM.<\/p>\n

    Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Part-Time)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    This programme duration is two years. Annually, the students are admitted to this programme by the Faculty of Arts, University of Jaffna through a competitive based selection examination and structured interview. Generally the maximum limit of students in a particular batch is 100. The lecturers are conducted in weekends from 9.00AM to 4 PM. (to see  PGDE (Part Time) curriculum<\/a><\/p>\n
